Woodland, CA $22-$30/hour DOE

Our client is a rapidly growing provider of emergency communications, temporary power solutions, and disaster response support services throughout the Western United States. Their teams help utilities, emergency response organizations, and critical infrastructure partners maintain connectivity and power during storms, outages, wildfires, and other emergency events.

Due to an internal promotion, they are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Associate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow with an organization that values initiative, accountability, and career development.

Schedule

Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, potential overtime

Candidates must be available to support occasional emergency response situations, including severe weather events, power outages, and public safety power shutoff (PSPS) events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming parts, equipment, and materials.
  • Manage inventory and maintain accurate records within NetSuite.
  • Track and stock generator parts, filters, oil, and other equipment-related supplies.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts.
  • Assist with basic generator maintenance and support activities.
  • Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
  • Travel approximately 20-30% to support additional company locations throughout the West Coast as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Mechanical aptitude and interest in learning generator and power equipment operations.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to take initiative and solve problems independently.
  • Adaptable and comfortable managing shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Reliable, accountable, and responsive during urgent operational situations.
  • Clean driving record with the ability to meet company insurability requirements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple leaders and departments.
  • Availability to support emergency response deployments when business needs arise.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Forklift certification or previous forklift experience.
  • Experience using inventory management systems such as NetSuite.
  • Background in warehouse, field service, utilities, telecommunications, power generation, equipment rental, or emergency response operations.
  • Experience working in operational environments where flexibility and adaptability are essential.
